Business-Facing Platform

  • Interview Data: Audio and text data from interviews conducted using our AI moderator.
  • Uploaded Assets: Documents, images, and other assets uploaded by businesses for use in interviews.
  • Panel Recruitment Data: Information about recruited panels and their characteristics.
  • Usage Data: Information about how users interact with our platform, including log data, device information, and IP addresses.

End-Customer-Facing Platform

  • Response Data: Answers provided by end customers during interviews.
  • Demographic Information: City, country, and state extracted from responses and IP addresses on the fly. We do not store IP addresses, ensuring there is no fingerprinting, and individuals cannot be traced back.
  • Voluntary Information: End customers can voluntarily share demographic information back with the businesses if they choose.

Data Usage

The data we collect is used to:

  • Facilitate and enhance the functionality of our AI-powered market research platform.
  • Communicate with users about their account and our services.
  • Product Analytics: We use PostHog to analyze how customers use the platform. This helps us improve our product. PostHog is compliant with major privacy policies such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA. No personal information is transmitted, only usage data.

Data Storage and Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. These include:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols.
  • Access Controls: Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Cloud Providers: We utilize cloud services from AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, all of which offer enterprise-grade privacy promises and adhere to strict data protection standards.

  • Data Access: Meaningful does not access any of the customer's data.

API Security

Our APIs can only be accessed with the correct authorization token and API keys. No secret keys are exposed on the frontend, ensuring that all API interactions are secure.

AI Services

All AI services we use are provided by highly reputable cloud providers such as AWS, Google, and Azure. The AI models we use are not trained on any customer data, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of all customer information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties except as described below:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform and conducting our business.
